Ballast for West Staging Yard
I finally completed the last of the ballasting in the Fulton/Clinton/Proviso area. The West Staging Yard received limestone ballast . I believe that's all for ballasting for awhile. I think I will now turn my attention to a few structures in the area.
Daryl, it appears that you've used three different colours for ballast in this photo. Can you please tell me what ballast you have used? (I haven't started that task yet, and I must admit that I find it quite daunting.)

ReplyDeleteI use arizoma rock and mineral ballast and highball ballast. The highball ballast is more readily available, but both are excellent.
