Pactra is made for the flexible lexan bodies of the R/C cars. I found it flakes off too, just not as readily as Modelflex.

Love the coal toawer hiding the hole. I remember using it back in the late 80's. I think the modelflex is the same stuff, just in railroad colors, but I am just assuming that, I don't know for sure. As far as that signal goes, I'm pretty sure there is not any track over there. There is a lot of railroad junk laying around in Nelson. I'm thinking its either being stored there for some reason or maybe there was track there at one time and has since been removed. Its probably the former. Next time I'm in Nelson, I'll have to check it out.

Darylgenevasubhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07864968947731266093noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3057579729722284150.post-74513522319167978772010-11-03T21:54:11.454-05:002010-11-03T21:54:11.454-05:00Daryl,

It's available at hobby shops that carry R/C cars. It also needs it's own thinner for cleaning brushes.nscalestationhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10783221442726601040noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3057579729722284150.post-83243505418831191182010-11-03T21:22:57.156-05:002010-11-03T21:22:57.156-05:00Nice effect with the photo of the coal tower. One question: in the prototype photo, there is a mast signal way off to the right but I don't see a track--what's over there?Jamie in Lilburn, Georgia, USAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10059268346007229942noreply@blogger.com
